Neem leaf oil is said to be good for your hair and scalp. It can also be used to be rid of lice. It is not a poison. It acts as something that interferes with an insect's ability to reproduce, and insects are all about reproducing! They avoid it like the plague!
Well at least the ants in my garden ran away. I did not have any lice to test it on. I am testing it on the fleas on my pets.
Caution. Do not use if you are pregnant or trying to conceive.
Don't you hate it when you are vacuuming and the staples just do not come up with the vacuum. People walk on them and they get ground into the fibers. Very irritating!
This is the tool that I use to remove them. There are 2 kinds of staple removers. The other one looks like a claw, but that will grab the carpet fibers
You want to use this one, otherwise your nails will break trying to get the staples out of the carpet fibers. Quick and easy.
Some of the offices I clean have been neglected. Not only are phones very dirty, but the computer mice are filthy!
The problem is that people leave their computers on at night and you do not want to activate or change anything on people's computers. The problem is lessened if you pick up the mouse in your hand off the desk to clean it. Make sure that you are not touching the bottom of the mouse. Keep it off any surfaces. Watch the monitor to see if you are affecting anything. It is safer if the computer is powered off of course.
I use a damp microfiber cloth to rub clean the surface. You may want to use a small toothbrush for crevices.
We put in a new sink in the bathroom and the ants found a way in. So I applied this 3 in One oil to the surface of the counter and the ants went away. You may have to reapply in a few days until they learn not to come back. You can also use Liquid Gold.
I have a house that I clean that looks great until late afternoon when the sun shines into the kitchen through the windows and on the glass kitchen table and the stainless steel appliances.
So for the stainless steel appliance I changed to a 409 cleaner. It seems to work well. As for the glass table top and windows, I will be trying this recipe I got from another blog. Here it is:

Someone asked me about removing magic marker from fabric. I have used Mr Clean Magic eraser to remove marker from walls and skin.
Here are the results of my research:

Fom How Things Work
I have used hairspray before for ink stains but didn't think to use it for magic marker. I think I would add a ring of vaseline around the outside of the stain to prevent spreading.

Here is something I read from Cleaning Business Today:
A natural stone, granite is often sealed in order to protect it from staining and other types of damage.
There are some types of granite that can’t be sealed, like black granite. Before you start cleaning, you need to know whether you granite is sealed.
A Simple Test
You can do a simple water drop test to find out. If the water “beads” on the top, your granite is sealed. If the water spreads out and “sinks in” to the granite, you countertop is not sealed.
“The trick with granite and indeed most stone is to use a neutral, non-chelating cleaner,” says Bruce Vance, owner of Town and Country Services, a residential cleaning in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. “Most cleaners, including glass cleaners, have additives known as chelates in them. These clump minerals in the water, effectively softening the water and making the cleaner more efficient. A good idea, except on stone. The chelating agents don't know the difference between the minerals in the stone and in the water. They react to both, causing microscopic etching of the stone. This is the main reason so many granite counter tops feel gritty. Cleaners that are stone specific are labeled as such because they do not have the chelating agents in them, and should be neutral.”
Here are some other tips for keeping your granite countertop in top condition:

Or Beer ??
They say you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar?
I caught more fruit flies with beer. I had seen a couple of videos on catching fruit flies with vinegar but there was some beer in the refrigerator (it was a year old), so I put both out.
The Beer won !!
